NZ Secondary Schools Duathlon Championship
The senior men's (under-19) title was won by Tawa College's Martin van Barneveld (pictured), who will be heading to Switzerland next month for the world duathlon championships. The senior women's (under-19) title was won by Anna Hamilton from Rangitoto College. Approximately 120 competitors took part in the event. Te Awamutu was well represented with a number of top 20 placings. Unfortunately we were unable to obtain full results from the event organisers.

Te Awamutu hosted the New Zealand Secondary Schools Duathlon Championship today, starting and finishing at the Te Awamutu Stadium.
