Te Awamutu Rose

Te Awamutu Rose Society
2002 Spring Rose Show

The Te Awamutu Rose Society’s Spring Show was held on November 8th & 9th.
Due to the unseasonable weather, which delayed the spring flowering of the roses, a slightly smaller number of entries than usual were presented for judging.
The exhibitors must be commended for the high quality of the flowers, which were much admired by the judges and public.
A special mention must be made of the excellent efforts of the first time exhibitors, whose roses were equal to those of the more experienced exhibitor, a fact borne out on the Championship Table.

See below for championship results.
