Te Awamutu Rose
Tantalising Tastes and Tales

A full house at the Council Chambers was treated to an evening of exquisite dining, story-telling and general conviviality. Te Awamutu Business and Professional Women served a range of culinary delights while guest speakers entertained.

Michael Easther (top left) recanted anecdotes from his years in the theatre, Sally Bodley (centre left) recited poetry and Mark Inglis (bottom left) spoke of his many experiences since losing both legs on Mount Cook twenty years ago.

Mr. Inglis also signed copies of his new book "No Mean Feat", which covers his considerable success in areas such as mountaineering and paralympic sports.
