Balloons In Te Awamutu

In conjunction with the Wel Energy Trust "Balloons Over Waikato", Hamilton City Council and the Waipa District Council, 5 hot air balloons and their crews came to Anchor Park for an exhibition today. Unfortunately a slight breeze prevented the balloons from rising much above ground level, but the large crowd was treated to an up-close encounter, with pilots and crews demonstrating the equipment and answering questions.
