Memorial Park Lake Restoration

The restoration of the Memorial Park Lake, begun in August, is now complete. Water quality has improved and the new stone edging is a vast aesthetic improvement.

Lakeside access is easier and a small concrete shore has been added to the popular duck-feeding area.

The old fountain hadn't worked properly for a long time. It has now been replaced with two new fountains.
The disused paddling pool has been filled in and grassed over.
