Waipa Networks Rose and Cultural Festival

The Te Awamutu Embroidery Group held their biannual exhibition at the Burchell Pavilion from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th November.

A wide range of works were on display and the exhibition saw a steady stream of admirers. One of the highlights was a stunning set of 3-dimensional embroidered images by Dorothy Johnston, entitled "Modern Adaptation of Elizabethan Stumpwork" (pictured below).
