Te Awamutu’s Community Safety Day on Saturday attracted about 200 people. It was organised by the Te Awamutu Volunteer Fire Brigade’s Fire Safety and Promotions Team. Spokesperson Karl Tutty says the day is designed to give all emergency services and related groups the opportunity to present key safety messages, and to give the public the chance to see the services in a non-emergency situation. “Certainly as far as the fire service goes
