The Mt Pirongia Art Awards present a wonderful collection of environmentally themed artworks, attracting high quality entries from throughout New Zealand. Held in Pirongia for their 6th consecutive year, they are organised by the award winning conservation group for Mt Pirongia, Pirongia Te Aroaro o Kahu Restoration Society. The Awards raise the profile of the society’s environmental work located in the Waipa District and the society receives commission on sales from the exhibition to support their activities.
The Award categories are:
Pirongia Te Aroaro o Kahu Restoration Society proudly presents the formal opening and official award ceremony on Friday 5 November at 7.00pm and an exhibition of entries on Saturday and Sunday from 11.00am to 2.00pm.
