The New Zealand Polo Team plays an invitation international team.
Feb Kawhia Kai Festival
A celebration of maori food (kai) and culture (tikanga). Unfortuantely this event is no longer going to continue. 2014 was the last one.

The main parade is held on Alexandra Street, concluding with a ceremony at the cenotaph on Anzac Green (Bank Street).

A competition for students of the performing arts: Instrumental, vocal, dance, etc.
