The national networking organisation for people interested in peace & social justice.

We meet at the Alpha Hotel every Wednesday at 5.45pm for fellowship and dinner at 6.15pm. Our meeting is normally finished by 7.45pm. We have two main projects: aluminium can collection and the Te Awamutu local telephone book.

We are a voluntary organisation which provides help to animals and owners 24/7, although you should expect only genuine emergencies to be dealt with outside normal working hours. We rely for our income on donations, bequests and our own fund-raising.

Te Awamutu Alive is a voluntary committee tasked with promoting the Te Awamutu district and organising events for local people to enjoy.

Gracelands supports disadvantaged communities to achieve their potential. We foster mutual respect and full participation in employment and life enhancing activities. We are a total quality orientated organisation.

Each Kiwanis club is composed of individuals from a wide range of occupations, representing the active forces and spirit of its own local community. The Kiwanis Club of Te Awamutu has provided service to the local district since June 1981.

The Te Awamutu Peace Group stands for Peace, Social Justice, and the Environment.

The station is operated fully by volunteers who come from various backgrounds and whom are dedicated, loyal and hard working people.

Volunteering Waikato is the champion of volunteering in the Waikato region. We promote and support volunteering and volunteers in the not for profit sector.
